TOP FOODS THAT HELP MELT AWAY BELLY FAT!!!!!

Almonds:  no more than 20 in a day, chew them really well, and enjoy.

Melons:  Watermelon, yummy and a great diuretic, full of minerals.

Cucumber: really high in hydration and minerals, make sure you chew it well.

What to do about hearing loss?

Vitamin A is one of the best supplements to help hearing loss.  Where do we find Vitamin A in foods?  Sweet potatoes, carrots, dark leafy greens, all winter squash, romaine lettuce, dried apricots (no preservatives, and no coloring added), cantaloupe, bell peppers, fish, liver and all tropical fruits.

Magnesium, Vitamin C and also Vitamin E.

Magnesium rich foods:  all fruits and vegetables, such as bananas, spinach, tomatoes, broccoli and artichokes.

Most important is to always protect your hearing around loud music and loud noise.

 

 

Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)

People often ask me what is the big deal with ACV.  Works great with Athlete’s Foot, simply soak a cloth ball in the ACV and apply it to the entire foot twice a day.  Allow the ACV to dry before you put your socks and shoes on.

Acne:  Apply a solution of ACV and water; 2 tablespoons to eight ounces of water with a cloth or cotton balls; do this several times a day.  This will definitely help reduce any infection and will also dry out the inflammation

ACV makes the body more Alkaline.

I like to use this for discomfort (pain); constipation; and over all balance of minerals.  In general terms, magnesium supplements are well tolerated and absorbed.  There are some drugs that do interfere with magnesium absorption, they are diuretics, insulin and digitalis.  People with kidney disease or severe heart disease SHOULD NOT TAKE MAGNESIUM SUPPLEMENTS UNLESS UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A PHYSICIAN.

Deficiency symptoms: Muscle cramps; menstrual cramps; PMS; sugar cravings; fatigue; nervousness; anemia; anxiety; facial tics; hypoglycemia; hyperactivity (especially in children); high blood pressure; poor circulation & kidney stones.  If you have any of these symptoms, please discuss them with your doctors.

Feeling under the weather???

Time to detox, and it is not complicated to start a simple detox program.  Simply start your mornings with warm or hot water with fresh lemon squeezed into the water, relax and drink it down.  Wait 30 minutes to eat breakfast and try and use the water/lemon during the day once more.

Try not to drink alcohol and try and cut down all simple carbohydrates.  You will feel a lot better if you indulgence in loads of fresh green vegetables and fresh fruits.

Beef In moderation, YES, lean beef in your diet can boost your eye health. Beef contains zinc, which helps your body absorb vitamin A and may play a role in reducing risk of advanced age-related macular degeneration. I don’t suggest beef for Blood types A and Blood types A/B. also the best supplement besides the oils is Lutein!

I have been lecturing for years about DIET SODAS and all DIET PRODUCTS!  Diet drinks include artificial sweeteners and food additives, especially ASPARTAME, which is actually know as a very powerful excitotoxin.  What are Excitotoxins???  Well, they are substances that are added to certain types of products that can literally stimulate nerve cells to death, causing gradual damage to your brain.  A simple change to lower your risk of Alzheimer’s and Dementia is to DITCH THE DIET SODAS!

Fighting off Brain Inflammation

What to avoid:  Safflower and Sunflower oils; corn oil; cream; cream cheese and all of the full-fat daily products.  Avoid Margarine, Vegetable shortening, and all products listing these in the ingredients.  Always avoid Hydrogenated Oils!
