Pregnancy and Exercise Myths!

Myth:  Lifting weights is dangerous for both mother and fetus.  Actually research shows that Stronger Moms have shorter labors, less chance of preterm labor and certainly fewer complications and shorter hospital stays.

Myth: Pregnant women should not start working out if they were not already engaged in an exercise program.  Actually, a regular exercise regimen or even a new program is very important for both Mom and baby.  I do suggest working with qualified professionals that are certified in pre-pregnancy and post-pregnancy.

Benefits of Homeopathic Medicines

They are natural!  Wide range of uses!  Very efficient!  Quality controlled!  SAFE!

The active ingredients in homeopathy medicines are diluted plants, animals and minerals.

When it comes to self-treatments, homeopathic are some of the safest choices.  No known side effects, no known interactions with conventional medications or even herbal remedies.  No masking of any symptoms.

What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a therapeutic method that uses highly diluted natural substances to relieve symptoms. An example of how homeopathic medicines work is the similarly of symptoms between a bee sting and a rash. A bee sting swells and itches. If similar symptoms appear from perhaps hives, a rash or even another insect bite, the homeopathic medicine most appropriate to treat these symptoms is actually made from a tiny amount of a bee. Instead of masking symptoms, the medicine sends the body a signal to help it rebalance and heal.

Thyroid issues!

You might want to check with your doctor if you are experiencing any of the following changes:

*Change in body weight

*Sleep pattern changes

*Thinning hair

*Low Libido

*Difficulty concentrating or remembering things

*Skin changes(drier skin; brittle nails; cold skin or sensitivity to cold)

*Menstrual changes

Are you eating too many carbs?

Gaining weigh easily?  Feel tired after you consume carbohydrates? Feel foggy-headed after meals? Crave sweets? Crave Starchy foods? Weight fluctuates easily? Energy up and down too often? Light-headed or even irritable when you feel hungry?

Try cutting back or even consider avoiding all grains, including whole grains, legumes, as well as high-sugar fresh fruits.

Maybe consider low-sugar berries, such as blueberries when you need a snack.
